EGE BAM YASI
"VARIATION" |
The first official T&B release featuring the bald king of Scottish egg-influenced acid madness....this ep is long ago sold out, and is still a bit of a classic really....the b-side features the epic "Smokin Tabs " mix which was Twitch & Brainstorm first remix project ...

STATE OF FLUX
"MIND WEEDS" |
Glasgows' State of Flux debut single, which sampled snippets from an informative Jello Biafra speech about Marijuana....quite poppy really, and possibly not to everyones taste, but definitely a closet classic - it did have a bit of a resurgence in France and Germany a couple of years after its original release, so you you never know...this one may be back again! |

TB1005
330ML
" GROW MORE POT " (picture disc) |
A kind of bootleg remix of State of Fluxs' "Mind Weeds" which featured a great deal more of the Jello Biafra speech and was actually quite informative...it was available on a spectacular two sided pictire disc - one side dedicated to the weed in question, the other to the T&B man. |

I.C.U.
"BRAIN EP" |
A three tracker featuring the combined talents of New Zealander Jed Eye and Test Departments' Gus Ferguson (with assistance from Andy Cowton) originally part of the music for an NVA exhibition/performance and snapped up by Keith to become the first release of the embryonic Pi Recordings offshoot . A few copies of this 12" left, packaged as part of the Pi Catalogue Collection. |

TB1007
pH1
"CANIN' EP" |
Debut single from Manchester techno boffins pH1....its got a fair old acidic content back, and its quite rockin' really, 3 tracks, one of which (Mr Stumble) is on the Pure Classics Volume 1 compilation and in my book, anything which manages to fit a bit of Arthur Lowe reading the Mr. Men over scrambled acid can't go too far wrong.....A favourite of Evil Ed Richards, by the way! |

TB1008
COSMIC BABY
"COSMIC, VERY COSMIC" EP |
Originally released on German label MFS, this is pretty much a UK release of a previously imported 12"...the title track featured a sample of Laurie Andersons "O Superman" for all you sample-spotters out there. Now unavailable. |

TB1009
VARIOUS

More acidic stuff from Swiss artists Repetto & Reisen, pH1 and Twitch & Brainstorm.... |

TB1213
MUTE
"ALISTAIRS' THEME" |
Orlando Voorns' weekend trip to Scotland inspired this ep, it still sounds great...there are three chaotic, tuneful, melodic "techno" tracks here as only Orlando can...the track "Alistairs Theme" was featured on one of the Kickin' Records "Techno Nations" Compilations

TB1214
EARL BROWN
"CORNUCOPIA" |
Edinburgh based Djax recording artist Stephen Brown composed this three track ep, which was voted into the top 20 dance singles of the year by Muzik magazine in its year of release....the epic track is titled "How I Feel" and is a dreamy, moody sax-filled opus (vaguely reminiscent of "Acid Eiffel"). Pure Class!
