After
a lengthy period of bunker based fine tuning Radioactive Man decided it
was time to make a move. As geiger counters up and down the country began
to twitch, and after a major European strike [Sonar Barcelona] he knew the
weapons were effective... Zip up your protective overalls because now its
your turn...
Radioactive Man will be the solo debut from Weatherall's partner in the
Two Lone Swordsmen, Keith Tenniswood. It features nine tracks, encompassing
subtle electronica and bass-heavy electro and is set for release on September
17th. RGC will hit the road for a series of label nights throughout September
and October, 2001.
Rotters Golf Club opened their account with three EPs in February and March
this year (2001). These included the Uranium EP from Tenniswood under the
Radioactive Man guise. Tenniswood has previously recorded for Fuel Records,
and engineered David Holmes' Let's Get Killed album. Tenniswood fills his
weekends by playing records in nightclubs. He used to have his own monthly
break-fest, Audio Beatings at the Clinic, as well as a Fuel residency in
New York. But is now too busy DJ’ing in the UK and abroad every weekend,
with regular slots at Haywire Sessions and Electrocuted.
