Spencer Kincy p.k.a. Gemini is one of the most innovative DJs to hail from the city of Chicago. Spencer began DJing back in 1998, influenced by legends like Ron Hardy & Lil' Louis. During 1990, Spencer, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina forged a musical collective which was to inspirea second generation of Chicago househeads. These young jocks showcased thier talents at legendary parties like "Substance" and "Life". Spencer then graduated to weekly residencies at clubs like Shelter, Red Dog and Kaboom, spinning old house and house.

In 1993, Spencer started working as Director of Distribution at Cajual Records, a role which was to take him all round the world promoting the new sound of Chicago. Parties all over America and Europe have confirmed his DJing talents, with exceptional sets noted at clubs such as Bugged Out, Back to Basics and many others.
As a producer, gemini had a string of releases on Relief and Cajual, and has also remixed Dajae and Green Velvet for these labels. He has also recorded for Carl Craigs' Planet E imprint, as well as launching his own record label, Guidance Recordings. Exploiting his many worldwide connections, Guidance are releasing materail from Scotland, London, New York, Chicago and Paris, proving that Spencer Kincy is a truly global house star.
